Duties: 1) Informs patrons of the rules and regulations to be observed in and around the Splash Pad and enforces such rules and regulations to minimize or eliminate hazardous situations and maintain a safe water play environment.2) Performs excellent customer service to the general public by answering routine questions and greeting visitors, conducting him/herself in a professional manner at all times.3) Ensures the Splash Pad, pavilions, restrooms, and grounds are maintained in a safe condition, maintaining a high level of cleanliness – including, but not limited to, sweeping, emptying and picking up trash, wiping down equipment and structures, and properly handling contamination. 4) Tests Splash Pad water and checks chemical levels periodically throughout the shift. Records levels and numbers appropriately, as needed. 5) Performs Splash Pad opening and closing duties as assigned. 6) Perform cleaning and janitorial duties daily.

Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven customer service related experience preferred or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Must hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license; must pass criminal history background check and driver’s license background check; may be subject to drug/alcohol screening.

Work schedule: 20-hour week; applicant must be willing to work flexible schedule to include Saturdays and evenings on a rotating basis.

Requirements: Certified Pool or Aquatic Facility Operator preferred. Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED

Salary: $10.00/ hr. – no benefits
