GOD is Faithful to HIS WORD!

On Sunday February 23, after our night service, I came home, got something to eat, and sat down to unwind from the day. I began to prepare myself for my day of consecration on Monday. I anointed myself and began to pray. I laid down. I could not stop loving up on God. I was just reminding Him of His word in Psalm 91. I began to call His word back to Him and saying, “You said a thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand. No plague will come near my dwelling.” Reminding Him that He is Jehovah Sabaoth, Lord of the Angelic Host. I continued talking to Him until I finally fell asleep.

It was about two o’clock in the morning or later and I was in a deep sleep. Suddenly, I heard heavy rain. I woke up immediately and jumped out of bed. I could not recall the weatherman saying there was going to be a storm. I looked out my window, my neighbor’s house was dark, and smoke was bellowing out her window! I saw two fire trucks in front of her house. As I hurried out of my bedroom, I saw another set of lights. I opened the kitchen blinds and saw several firemen. I then went into my living room, looked out the window and saw two more fire trucks. I opened the door to get a real good look as to what was happening. There were lots of fire fighters on the scene. I closed that door and opened the side door to get a better view. Smoke was coming out of my neighbor’s window and attic!

In the midst of all this excitement, the Lord had allowed me to sleep right through it! I never heard the fire trucks or even smelled any fumes from the fire. There were small pieces of insulation all over my car, but it was not burned or even scorched! There was very little debris on my house. The only thing separating our house was a big wooden fence. My car was also a couple of feet away from the fence. I’d like to report there was absolutely no damage to my roof or my property! God is good! Hallelujah! I still have a roof over my head, and He spared my life.
