Deception, a strong spirit
The battlefield of prayer is the place that you make it. The focus is not just the place of prayer, but the intensity of prayer.
We are in a time of great apostasy (abandonment of truth). How are we going to protect ourselves from delusions / deceptions that are being flooded into the church world? It will only be accomplished by consistent prayer and humbling of our souls in times of fasting. Peter talked about false prophets and teachers who invent erroneous doctrines to cause people to support them in the manner to which they have become accustomed. Their teachings were nothing more than lies of Satan. II Peter 2:1 - 2
God’s word gives us the authority to live abundantly above the lies of the enemy, whatever they may be. The overthrow is personalized to the demise of each of us and yes, we are daily targets. However, we must remember Romans 8:38-39, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
As all other strongholds, the spirit of lying can be defeated through the spirit of truth. According to
I John 2:14, we are admonished to know that we are strong, and the word of God abides in us, and we have overcome the wicked one. This is not the time to drawback but to hold fast to the Word:

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of
